People are swapping bodies. Thankfully, its only two people exchanging bodies instead of having the bodies all a mess, but its still confusing. I'm unaffected - I wonder if its because I spend so less time in actual buildings?

Its probably for the best that I stay out of the mess. Shall I take shelter in the forest again, then? My sprite (I've taken to call it mine, though it rarely appears before me and never appears before anyone else) will probably have a higher chance of showing up there. And I wouldn't have to be here with all the confusion.

There seems to be no harm to it though, except for the people who swapped bodies coming close. Those tend to faint - I wonder why? Perhaps its to keep us from finding out. I wonder if moving unconscious bodies together would result in swapping back? It is, however, unlikely anyone would allow me to try.

*tap, tap* This thing isn't working like it should. I keep trying to get it to show what other people are doing like it usually does, but all it gives me is a blank signal. I hope nothing's wrong.

Life here is, as usual, peaceful. Not much really goes on, though there tends to be a racket whenever something happens. I guess its to give people something to do, especially for those that prefer to be active. Personally, I've been enjoying the quietness the surrounding nature gives.

As for the sprite following me, so far it's approached me several times, but still hasn't said anything. I think its a tree sprite, but it could also be a bush sprite or a grass sprite. I like its presence, though. I think we're on our way to being friends. It'd be great if I could be friends with a sprite, right? I also tried feeding it, but so far I've only got it to drink water.

I spent some time reading in the library. Not much, I don't really like reading, but I tried to find out a little more about spirits in general.

(ooc. Back from hatius. Mostly. I'm still fairly busy applying for college and preparing for exams, but I'm pretty sure I can keep up with things now. At least, that's what I hope to do. Also, Yoh can see ghosts and spirits, which is exactly what happened.)

I heard there was a gravity problem in buildings a while ago? Because I was outside the entire time, I totally didn't notice. Pointless events occasionally just randomly occur here, huh? There's always questions like "Why did this happen?" and a probably more realistic "How is this even possible?", but...well, they're kind of troublesome. So far, none of them has harmed anyone I know, so. Ah, but I don't really know anyone here.

Walking around this place is really cool. Memento Eden is really a beautiful place, especially the surroundings. Even though I was sleeping under the trees, I woke up feeling even more relaxed than I was!

I also felt a sort of vibration going on. There are sometimes beings walking around, but I don't think they're human...Oh, and there was quite a few creatures hiding among the leaves! I think they're spirits of some sort. Maybe tree sprites?

I don't think I was just seeing things. I mean, maybe I was, and I have no idea if others can see them as well (please tell me if you do!), but I think I'm sane. Though it's probably not something I can say myself, eh? Still, I saw them with my own eyes.

...One of them followed me back to the apartments. I think. I saw it quite a few times already, but so far it's never approached me directly. It just floats around and dashes away whenever it notices me watching it...I wonder why? I don't think I'm scary-looking at all. It's really quite marvelous though, that there are things other than people around. Sprite-san, can you hear me? I'd like to be friends!

Even though it's always noisy in the apartments, it's actually really quiet outside. I like sitting under the trees - there are occasionally people around, but most tend to mind their own business. It's really nice around, though people seem to tense up at times.

There are also, strangely, people fighting here. They are buying weapons or carrying them, and waving them towards one another. I've heard people talk about how strong they are, and it seems there was a battle in the park yesterday.

Why do they fight? There was no competition. What do they get out of fighting? I don't mind fighting, if it's to gain something in return. But I don't see what they got out of those fights. If the fight had no meaning, then it just doesn't feel right.

I don't think normal people go about fighting, either. So they're probably all special people from their respective worlds.

There's this person that goes by Hao here, and looks he nearly exactly like me. I didn't really pay attention to it though, because this place is just plain weird and it would make sense if they're making duplicates of people's appearances or so. But he just...told me that we're twins.

That means we're related, right? It makes sense, though. My name is Yoh, and his is Hao - we share the same kanji. And, ah, from the looks of it, I might be the younger one, if only because his name has the meaning 'king' to it. I could be wrong though - just guessing. I'm doing a lot of that lately, huh?

It's really peaceful here. People complain a lot about wanting to get out of here, and everyone's always talking about their memories and how to gain them back, but I think it's really nice here. The name fits, actually - "Eden", a place of beauty and humanity. People are facing their memories one by one, and by moving through those memories gradually it seems like their problems are getting solved along the way.

Maybe that's why we're here? Because we had problems in our usual lives, and had to come here to be able to restart our lives?

If that's the reason why...heh, maybe I should start doing something.

Ah, I've pretty much figured out this place. It seems like everyone that comes here loses their memory, but regains in randomly once in a while. Those that remembered doesn't seem to lose it again, so they're thinking something or someone is controlling this. There's someone named...Ari? I'm not very good with names right now, so.

Somehow, I remember a lot of darkness. It's different from the emptiness here, it's even more...blank. Like a completely new piece of paper? There's nothing there though, no light, no sound, I don't think I can smell anything or touch anything too. It's really odd - does this count as remembering, or was it a dream?

Dreams are fun, though. It's good to be able to dream.

I also have a free apartment now, and they give out three meals a day too. It's really convenient, and I don't need to work at all - some people still do, because they have things they want to buy, but eh. Hehe, it's so tedious.

All the people here are really strange. More than one person mentioned that I was here before - but it also wasn't me. Ah, I don't understand at all! I'm still me, right? I'm nobody else, even if I don't remember anything. Memories aside, I'm still Yoh - and even if that's not my name, it's the same thing. There's really no reason to fret.

I don't know. Anything at all. There wasn't even a waking up process - I just realized out of the blue that I'm, well, here. Wherever this place is. It doesn't look like a bad place, though it feels slightly empty. And somehow, I can smell a sweet substance in the air, like it's consuming the entire area. I do think that I don't really care about sugar, though - it's not terrible, but it's gives off an artificial scent somehow.

For some reason, all I want to do is lie down and fall asleep. I am also wearing a Japanese styled bath robe with a bright orange earphone which is, despite having no memory at all, no doubt rather odd to begin with. I supposed there's a high chance I'm Japanese, I guess?

Ah, just thinking about this proves to be tiring. And I feel completely drained, though drained of what I have no idea. I can hear footsteps around me, but this place still appears dry and empty. Maybe this has something to do with my memories? I would like to know the reason I'm in this place. It could be important - or maybe there's something I need to do. But right now? I would definitely settle for a fluffy bed.

The sweet fragrance in the air appears to be luring me to sleep as well...if only I could find a good spot to rest in.
